NO ORDINARY BEGINNING
Not all planners are trained at sea.
While everyone else was heading to university, Lucy was chasing something different: a career that mixed travel, luxury, and a standard of discipline most people never reach. She trained at UKSA in the Isle of Wight, completing a four-month intensive in silver service, hospitality, floristry, and boat handling, before taking her first job on a North Sea survey vessel at just 18.
From there, she booked a one-way ticket to the South of France and landed her first superyacht job within a week — working 18-hour days, staying on her game 24/7, creating themed experiences for ultra-high-net-worth guests, handling last-minute changes, and making things happen no matter the circumstances.
It didn’t take long to realise: if I can plan extraordinary experiences in the middle of the Med, I can do this anywhere. And that’s exactly where the idea for her planning agency began.

When she’s not managing multi-day itineraries, you’ll find her in muddy boots, walking with her husband Josh and her dog Waffle to the local café. She heads to Cornwall three or four times a year, mostly for the food (and the sea air). Breakfast is serious business: pancakes, bacon, proper coffee. She’s got a knack for finding the best off-the-map dinner spots, from English tapas to low-key Michelin restaurants. If you ever need food recommendations in the Cotswolds or Cornwall, she’s your girl.

She’s travelled the world (and can recommend a great beach bar in St. Barts or a cozy pub down the cobbled streets of Cornwall, but nothing lights her up quite like Glastonbury. Not just for the headline acts, (though she’s got opinions) but for the atmosphere: zero pretence, all the fun and the kind of collective high you can’t fake.
Music’s always the connector. It’s how she bonds with clients. One moment you’re discussing timelines, the next you’re swapping festival stories and building a playlist for the afterparty.

Her backpack is battered, covered in stamps, and goes everywhere. A little nod to her old yacht crew nickname: Dora the Explorer. From souks in Morocco to tapas in Barcelona, from beach huts in Cornwall to Michelin-starred tasting menus, she’s never not exploring.
